Few days from now, another chapter of my life will come to an end. And a new chapter is about to begin. And I am feeling mixed emotions.

SAD.. because I'll be leaving behind people close to me.. people who influenced me.

HAPPY.. because I'll be pursuing one of my dreams.. to live and work abroad.

ANXIOUS.. because I'll be living on my own, independently and afar from my family.

THRILLED.. because of the challenges and ventures awaiting for me.

When we are in doubt, you ask. We question things unclear to our mind. Then we seek for answers. And when our queries are answered, we say we are enlightened.

But thinking back. Why did we ask in the first place? Why did we question? Because we're confused. Because we see something that is not norm to us.

Just seeing that something is already an enlightenment. And answers are just confirmation.

"It is not the answer that enlightens, but the question." -Anonymous

One of my favorite dishes, BB.. Boneless Bangus. Though I only eat Bangus when it's deboned.. hehehe.. may phobia kasi ako matinik.. at tamad din ako magtanggal ng tinik. :)

Favorite ko ung na-oorder sa RSM Restaurant sa may Silang, Tagaytay (pero hindi 'to taken dun). Giant ang bangus dun. As in. Pang 3-4 person ata. And I wanted to know kung san nila nakukuha yun.. hehehe.

What's common with cooking and a relationship?
Both needs to have the right ingredients and spices for it to be delightful. Sa pagluluto, minsan ang timpla mo eh matamis.. minsan maasim.. minsan maalat.. minsan matabang.. madalas naman tama lang ang timpla. Just like in a relationship, you don't expect it to be sweet all the time. Hindi naman maaiiwasan ang problema eh, but you need to do something to resolve it. Gaya sa pagluluto, pagnawala ka sa timpla, there will always be ways to counter it.
Life itself is a learning process. =)

Awaiting to be on top..
To personally experience the thrill..
To had a glimpse of a breath taking scenery..
To appreciate God's gift.. Nature.

"Life is like a box of chocolates you'll never know what your going to get." - Forrest Gump

Like life, every mountain is full of surprises. That is either above or below your expectation. What might seem to be an easy trek is actually a hard one. You'll just never know until you are there. So never underestimate the Nature.

Nevertheless, when you reach the summit, the feeling of fullfillment comes in. And that is something worth all the pain and sweat during trekking. And after the climb.. you'll end up thinking, planning and waiting for your next climb. :)

True Calling

Ever felt you don't belong in a certain place? Or in group of people? Or in the job you're currently at? Ever thought what your true calling is?
Well I do. As a professional, I am an engineer, an Electronic Engineer to be specific. But honestly I really don't feel like it is my calling. I cannot say I don't like what I am doing, but the passion is not there.
I wanted to do so many things. I wanted to explore things outside my field. But everything should be planned carefully...

DeTouR

Noun.

1. A roundabout way or course, especially a road used temporarily instead of a main route.

2. A deviation from a direct course of action.

3. A choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons. Teams must successfully complete one of the tasks described on the clue in order to receive their next clue (sounds familiar?!? hehe..)

4. A deciding point in one's life. Each of us experiences decision making. And whatever option we choose, we had to live by it. Because we decide on our own fate.. on where we wanted to be.. on whom we wanted to share our lives.. and on what we will be.

Let me take a line from one of my fave series 'The 4400':

"The end of one journey is always the beginning of another. Change is painful, and always comes with a cost. It hurts to bear those costs, but we can't allow that to sway us. Tomorrow is a mystery; the only thing we can do is face it with resolve. We move forward, always forward and into what's next. We make a choice, we act on that choice, and all that's left is to live in hope."

Nakapagtataka

"Hindi ka ba napapagod, o di kaya'y nagsasawa. Sa ating mga tampuhang walang hanggang katapusan. Napahid na ang mga luha, damdamin at puso'y tigang. Wala nang maibubuga, wala na 'kong maramdaman. Kung tunay tayong nagmamahalan, ba't di tayo magkasunduan.. Nakapagtataka."

If someone would ask me what's my song at this very moment of my life.. I won't be thinking twice.. but 'Nakapagtataka'.

They say letting go is the hardest thing to do in a relationship. But at what point? While the feelings is still there? Or you'd rather wait till it fades?

I once read this line, quoted from the movie 'The Mexican', " If two people love each other, but they just can't seem to get it together, when do you get to that point of enough is enough?.. Never."
